Silas & Matthew

Well here are a couple of pics of Silas with "Baby Matty". As you can see Silas is in heaven holding his little cousin. I'm not sure how he is going to handle going to Grandma and Papa's and not have Baby, Uncle Bobo and Aunt Sayah there. He had so much fun with them while they were here. It was nice for us to see how good he was with Matthew it was good practice for the new baby we are expecting in June.

Pumpkin Patch & First Hair Cut

Hi Everyone, I know that all you come to check this blog for is the pictures, so I hope I provided enough of them. I has been so wonderful to have Mitch and Sarah and Baby Matty around. I will share some photos of Silas holding Matty in my next installment. As you can see Erica provided Silas with his first haircut and as usual with first haircuts it was not all fun and games. It took Grandma feeding him what she now calls magic cheese. When it was all said and done my sweet little boy looks a lot more grown up. I can't hardly believe it. We hope you are all well.

Big News!!

Hola!! So as you can see Silas has been on the edge of his seat with all of the post season Dodger news. He is pretty excited about what signing Joe Torre means for out storied boys in blue. He and Uncle Bobo (Mitchell) and a couple of other guys were discussing how difficult it might be to get tickets if A-Rod signs with the Dodgers for next season. He wanted us to get online and order tickets right away.

We'd like to appologize for the lack of Halloween pics this October. Let's just say that Mom dropped the ball this year. But I will be posting some pics of Silas taking over the Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Patch as soon as I get them.

Silas sends his love with lots of drooly kisses and head banging hugs and hopes that all of you had a wonderful Hallows Eve. Here's to more candy than any of us should eat.

Weather Changes & Dodgers with Progressive

As the weather changes so are the days of many colds. I apologize if this entry is a bit loopy but colds and sinus infections have taken over the Brusseau house. There is a serious lack of sleep going around. As I type Silas is screaming and coughing in his crib. It was nap time and hour and a half ago.

I just want to say a big thanks to everyone in Jonathan's office for making the Dodger game last Thursday such a fun evening. Silas had to detox from all the attention. You guys are great. We love ya!

Killer Heat Wave!

Ah yes, the perfect face for the perfect heat wave. Boy oh boy. Jonathan and I went away for a friends wedding in Santa Barbara and came home to 110* weather. Needless to say poor Silas had to sleep at Grandma and Papa's house for a few more nights. But lets be honest he didn't really mind. I hope none of you melted way in the heat. And for those of you in great north west all we have to say to you "pbbbbth! :P"

Another Week

Wow! I keep thinking that if I spend a little time every week writing it will make it seem like Silas isn't growing up so fast. HA! It is quite possible that it is making it go faster for me. I can't believe how big he is. I swear he has grown 4 inches since we got home from vacation. About an hour ago...so 9am we were playing in the floor in the living room and he came over to me and signed that he was tired and walked me into his bedroom for his nap. He will sit and read his own books to himself and can find a picture of a dog or a car or his papa faster than we can. To say he is keeping me on my toes would be an understatement. But I would trade it for the world. I love watching him grow and learn and discover, it's amazing. I am so greatful that I don't have to work, well, lets not kid...I work. This is a blessing.

PS. For those of you who are local...we are putting on a sketch comedy show on Sunday night at 7pm at the church. Tickets are $5. Come out and have a good laugh.
