Silas & Matthew
Well here are a couple of pics of Silas with "Baby Matty". As you can see Silas is in heaven holding his little cousin. I'm not sure how he is going to handle going to Grandma and Papa's and not have Baby, Uncle Bobo and Aunt Sayah there. He had so much fun with them while they were here. It was nice for us to see how good he was with Matthew it was good practice for the new baby we are expecting in June.

Pumpkin Patch & First Hair Cut
Hi Everyone, I know that all you come to check this blog for is the pictures, so I hope I provided enough of them. I has been so wonderful to have Mitch and Sarah and Baby Matty around. I will share some photos of Silas holding Matty in my next installment. As you can see Erica provided Silas with his first haircut and as usual with first haircuts it was not all fun and games. It took Grandma feeding him what she now calls magic cheese. When it was all said and done my sweet little boy looks a lot more grown up. I can't hardly believe it. We hope you are all well.

Big News!!
Hola!! So as you can see Silas has been on the edge of his seat with all of the post season Dodger news. He is pretty excited about what signing Joe Torre means for out storied boys in blue. He and Uncle Bobo (Mitchell) and a couple of other guys were discussing how difficult it might be to get tickets if A-Rod signs with the Dodgers for next season. He wanted us to get online and order tickets right away.
We'd like to appologize for the lack of Halloween pics this October. Let's just say that Mom dropped the ball this year. But I will be posting some pics of Silas taking over the Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Patch as soon as I get them.
Silas sends his love with lots of drooly kisses and head banging hugs and hopes that all of you had a wonderful Hallows Eve. Here's to more candy than any of us should eat.

Weather Changes & Dodgers with Progressive
As the weather changes so are the days of many colds. I apologize if this entry is a bit loopy but colds and sinus infections have taken over the Brusseau house. There is a serious lack of sleep going around. As I type Silas is screaming and coughing in his crib. It was nap time and hour and a half ago.
I just want to say a big thanks to everyone in Jonathan's office for making the Dodger game last Thursday such a fun evening. Silas had to detox from all the attention. You guys are great. We love ya!

Hot Fun in the Summertime
It's like a heatwave! Not so surprising since we live in So. Cal. But oh what fun we are having. We spend lots of time in the bath cooling off and running around in diapers and lets not forget walking with daddy and papa and doggy. We have been teething still...and again. So with the heat Silas has had some nasty fevers. It is so hard for me to believe that a year ago I was carrying him around in his little car seat and he would just sleep anywhere I put him. No he is up and about and running around and knocking into things and singing all day long. I love it. It keeps me on my toes. So till next time XOXO.

Summertime & Corn on the Cob
Wow! Summertime is here. We have had great weather the past few days and have been enjoying the cool evening here in So Cal. Last Friday we went to visit Grandma and Papa and walk to the street fair. And when we got there GA was eating some corn on the cob. Sure enough that was all Silas had eyes for. Forget his yummy dinner he wanted some corn. And as you can see grandma obliged. So start your summer right and enjoy some corn on the cob this week with some friends and family.

Take Me Out To the Ball Gamesss!
GO DODGERS!!! Like Hong-Chih Kuo's home run in the second inning to complete back to back to back home runs, Silas has ruled the ballpark this week. Sunday afternoon we attended the scorcher vs the Blue Jays where we left feeling burned more ways than one. And last night we saw the boys in blue battle it out against the Mets for the win. WAHOO!! And as I type the Dodgers are on the verge of sweeping those pesky Mets. We weren't sure what to expect from Silas but he fought the heat like a champ and ate Dodger Dogs till he was blue in the face. But as you can see he was happy all the way. All the way to the front door where we proceeded to meltdown. But true to form he was king to his public.

Oh For The Love of Teething
I love my son. I even love the fact that he loves to eat. But with his love to eat comes the need for teeth. And I don't love teething. I feel like we have gone back in time. No sleep, no rest, no showering, very little eating and all for the sake of 4 little teeth that in a few years time will fall out so that we can go through this whole process one more time. Understand that my son is a wonderfully happy little boy, most of the time. These teeth have changed him. Publicly he puts on a great face and charms everyone who will pay attention. Privatly he is an uncontrollable mess. I'm thinking of writing a book...Dr Silas and Mr. WAAAAAAAH! the saga of the inpending teeth.

"the nut"
Check Him Out
Well...it is official. I have succumbed to the pressure of posting a blog for Mr Noodle. I'm sure that he will have something to say about it when he wakes from his nap, but for now you are stuck listening to me. Since his 1st birthday he has been off to the races (literally). He moves more than I thought humanly possible. On Friday May 11th he decided that it was time that he stood up and began to take steps by himself, much to my dismay. And can the boy talk and talk and talk. I'm sure some of you are chuckling right now and thinking how much like his father he is. Yesterday he even said "baseball", well he said something that sounded like baseball, but he was holding his little bat. That is all the interesting info I have to share with you right now. Have a great day!
